DHAKA, Oct 17, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has congratulated Nabila Nur, daughter of Nur Hossain Hiru who was subjected to enforced disappearance from Chauddagram in Cumilla in 2011, for her outstanding success in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

Nabila Nur secured brilliant results in the HSC exams held earlier this year. Upon receiving news of her achievement, Tarique Rahman has extended his greeting to her. 

In line with the instruction of Tarique Rahman, Convener of “Amra BNP Poribar” and BNP Media Cell member Atikur Rahman Rummon arranged to deliver the greeting message. He immediately sent a delegation of “Amra BNP Poribar” to Nabila Nur’s residence in Signboard area of Narayanganj district.

The delegation included Member-Secretary of “Amra BNP Poribar” Agriculturist Mokhsedul Momin Mithun and Member of the Managing Committee of the National Press Club Zahidul Islam Roni.

The message from Tarique Rahman, along with a special gift, was handed over to Nabila Nur yesterday evening.

Nur Hossain Hiru, hailed from Chauddagram in Cumilla, was reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance on June 20, 2011. He was serving as Organizing Secretary of the Greater Uttara Thana unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
