CHATTOGRAM, Oct 17, 2025 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury today urged the party leaders and activists to unite and work by putting their past grievances aside before the national elections slated for February 2026.

"We will all work together and remain united in the elections. It is important to convey the message to people that BNP is a disciplined party. Each person will have a different role to play -- some will go door to door, some will distribute leaflets, some will be agents, and some will campaign. It is essential that everyone works together towards a common goal," he told a meeting of BNP leaders and activists at his residence in Chattogram this afternoon.

During the meeting, he stressed the need for pro-people election strategies.

"We will reach out to the people door-to-door, setting aside any past differences among ourselves. BNP is the party of the people, and we will win this election by uniting people," he said.

The function was presided over by City BNP Joint Convener Advocate Abdus Sattar. City BNP Joint Conveners Shafiqur Rahman Swapan, Abdul Halim Shah Alam, Kazi Belal, and Manjur Alamk, City Mohila Dal President Monowara Begum Moni, Vice President Sakhina Begum, among others, were present.
