Nahid visits injured July fighter Atikul

DHAKA, Oct 18, 2025 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam today visited Atikul Islam, an injured fighter of the July Uprising, at his residence in Azampur, Uttara.

During the visit around 9pm, Nahid inquired about Atikul's overall health condition and assured him of all possible assistance from the party, said a press release.

Atikul lost his right arm after being shot by police during the July movement. He was reportedly injured again yesterday when police attacked demonstrators in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
