NOAKHALI, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Chairperson's advisory council member
Zainul Abedin Farroque today said there is no alternative of forming the
government by BNP for building a discrimination-free Bangladesh.

"If the Sheaf of Paddy (Dhaner Shish), election symbol of the BNP, wins in
the national polls by the mandate of country people there would be no more
discrimination in the country," he said.

The BNP leader said this as the chief guest while distributing BNP's 31-point
leaflets at Nateshwar union under Sonaimuri upazila here this morning.

Calling Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Farroque said you will correct the
Proportional Representation (PR) if you go to power. "But now, let us join
together to cooperate with the interim government as you [Jamaat] have signed
the July Charter," he added.

Mentioning that conspiracy is going on with Bangladesh Nationalist Party
(BNP), he said deep conspiracy is going on as Tarique Rahman, acting chairman
of the party, and 'Sheaf of Paddy' cannot come to power in the next polls.

Citing the fire incident held in different places in the capital including
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) and Mirpur, the BNP leader said
when the government is ready to give voting rights to the people than a group
who had carried out misrule in the last 16 years are trying to impede the
elections through carrying out different fire incidents.
