Jamaat pledges corruption-free, humanitarian Bangladesh: Parwar

SATKHIRA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Golam Parwar today said the party wants to build a humanitarian Bangladesh, free from disappearance, killing, looting and corruption.

Addressing a student and youth rally at Tala Football Ground here this afternoon as the chief guest, Parwar stressed Jamaat's vision for the country.

He highlighted fallen fascist Awami League-led government's past actions, saying Islamic scholars were brutally killed during its regime and many Islamic activists faced imprisonment and death sentences even in old age.

"But Jamaat-e-Islami wants to create a humanitarian Bangladesh that will be free from such atrocities," he added.

Parwar further said support for Jamaat is growing not only in Satkhira but throughout the country.
