DHAKA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - A delegation from Islami Andolon Bangladesh (IAB) today paid a courtesy call to the newly appointed German ambassador to Dhaka Dr. R.diger Lotz.

The meeting was held at the German embassy here.

The IAB representatives also expressed special gratitude to the German government for providing opportunities to a large number of students from Bangladesh for higher education in Germany.

Ambassador Dr. Lotz, in response, said Germany will extend its continued support, particularly in the upcoming national election slated for February next. 

The Ambassador also expressed keen interest to visit IAB office soon.

Furthermore, the delegation invited the Ambassador to attend the Charmonai Mahfil.

IAB Joint Secretary General Engineer Ashraful Alam, International Affairs Advisor and former Ambassador Golam Moshih, International Secretary of Islami Jubo Andolan Imtiaz Ahmed Sajol, and Member Secretary of the IAB International Affairs Sub-Committee Md. Razon Sikder were among the delegation members.
