DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today placed Bangladeshi-origin US citizen Enayet Karim Chowdhury on a five-day remand afresh in a case lodged under the Anti-Terrorism Act with the capital's Ramna Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Mohammed Zunayed passed the order after the police produced him before the court and pleaded for a seven-day remand in the case.

Enayet was placed on a two-day remand in the case on September 15, and another five-day remand on September 17.
