
MYMENSINGH, Nov 8, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) concluded its Annual Research Review workshop for the fiscal year 2024-25 at the institute's central auditorium on the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus here on Saturday.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) Member Professor Dr. ASM Golam Hafiz Kennedy attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest with Director General (DG) of BINA Dr. Shariful Haque Bhuiyan in the chair.
The five-day workshop, which began on November 4, featured presentations on the research achievements and activities of 11 divisions of BINA, along with reports from its 13 sub-centres and one regional centre.
A total of 13 technical sessions were held, where teachers and researchers from BAU and other agricultural research institutes across the country participated as session chairs and discussants. Scientists presented their annual research findings, key achievements, and future research plans.
The workshop placed special emphasis on the development of climate-resilient, high-yielding, pest- and disease-resistant, and nutrient-enriched crop varieties, as well as on the advancement of modern agricultural technologies.
