DHAKA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) arrested 11 people during an anti-crime campaign in the Mohammadpur area.

The police have produced the arrestees before a court, according to a press release. 

The arrested individuals are Zakir Mollick (32), Rubel (25), Golam Mostafa (48), Shariful (25), Miraz (28), Kawsar Hasan (22), Sumit (23), Badsha (24), Sayeed (28), Taju (27) and Imran (35).

Deputy commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman said Mohammadpur police netted the 11 suspected criminals on charges of various crimes. 

The release added that police recovered 200 grams of marijuana and two bottles of foreign-made liquor, two digital weight machines and Tk.242 during the drive.

DMP's media and public relations division said that the arrested include 
accused facing regular cases and involved in various crimes.
