FENI, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Cumilla range Director Md Mahbubur Rahman today said members of the Ansar and VDP are ready to perform its duties and responsibilities in the upcoming national parliamentary elections in a neutral and peaceful manner.

He made the comments at the award distribution ceremony after the Upazila Ansar basic training at the Feni District Ansar VDP training center.

He hoped that the reputation of the Ansar force will increase through performing its responsibilities properly in the next national parliamentary elections.

This important election of the government is more challenging for the Ansar than any previous election, Mahbubur said adding for this reason, the government is training and developing the skills of the young generation of educated, unemployed, and enterprising youth across the country. It is developing them to be self-reliant through various technical training including computers, sewing, and weapons."

Mahbubur  said that in the next elections, the Ansar force will monitor the centers across the country through software. If an unpleasant incident occurs at any center, members of the law enforcement agencies will immediately reach those centers, he added.

Through this software, he said, a message will be sent to the concerned deputy commissioner, upazila nirbahi officer or the responsible returning officer.

Feni District Ansar Commandant Md. Helan Uddan and District Adjutant Bibi Kulsum were present. Awards were given to 1,500 trainees at the event.
