CHATTOGRAM, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - A Dhaka-bound US-Bangla Airlines flight was delayed by about 26 minutes this morning after a wild fox was spotted on the runway at Chattogram’s Shah Amanat International Airport.

Confirming the incident, Airport Public Relations Officer Engineer Md. Ibrahim Khalil stated that the US-106 flight was scheduled to depart at 11:40 am. However, a fox appeared on the runway just before takeoff.

The inspection team quickly went there, scared the fox away, and ensured the runway was clear for the flight to take off. The flight eventually departed at 12:06 pm, he said.
