KHULNA, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS)- Information Affairs Secretary of the BNP Azizul Bari Helal has said the BNP believes in the politics of change, not revenge.

He said this in a meeting during his day-long election campaign at Dighalia Upazila here yesterday.

Helal, BNP nominee in Khulna-3 constituency for the upcoming national election, also said, criminals and drug dealers cannot have any political identity.

During the daylong election campaign he planted saplings at Chandnimahal Government Primary School and several other educational institutions, urging the students to become environment friendly.

During his mass contact in different parts of Chandni mahal, Helal said, there would be no place for extortionists, criminals or drug traders in Dighalia.

Helal further said that steps would be taken for reopening of all closed mills and factories in the region including Star Jute Mill if the BNP comes to power.

He also pledged to set up a modern water treatment plant to solve the upazila’s salinity and safe-water crisis, and to bring the entire region under planned urban development.

Helal said fascist and mafia-like behavior of Awami League forced its leadership fled the country. Now Jamaat is finding them as an alternative of Awami League. But the people consider BNP as the real change maker.

BNP leader Sheikh Moslem Uddin presided over the event while BNP leaders Khan Zulfiqar Ali Zulu, Professor Babul,Molla Saifur Rahman Mintu, spoke among others.
