BOGURA, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) – The Bogura district unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) organized a doa mahfil on Thursday  on the occasion of the birthday of the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

The doa mahfil was held after Zuhr at the Baitur Rahman Central Mosque in Bogura, under the initiative of the district BNP. The mahfil brought together senior party leaders, former lawmakers, and local BNP activists. 

 BNP Chairperson’s advisor and former municipal mayor Advocate AKM Mahbubur Rahman, former MPs Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu, Golam Md. Siraj and Kazi Rafiqul Islam, former district BNP president VP Saiful Islam, acting general secretary Mosharraf Hossain, and BNP National Executive Committee members Joynal Abedin Chan and Ali Azgar Talukder Hena, among others, attended the doa mahfil.  

 During the mahfil, Pesh Imam Belayet Hossain of Baitur Rahman Central Mosque led a special prayer for the long life and good health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.
