575 destitute provided free medical services in Maheshkhali

DHAKA, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and medical supplies to 575 helpless, poor, distressed people and children in Maheshkhali, Cox's Bazar.

This information was revealed by Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq this afternoon.

He said since its inception, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the underprivileged people of the coastal and riverine areas. 

The Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the needy and low-income people through medical campaigns at different times. In continuation of this, a medical campaign was conducted by Coast Guard Base Chittagong at Sikderpara Government Primary School under Maheshkhali Police Station in Cox's Bazar from 12 noon to 4 pm today. 

Free medical services and medicines are provided to the helpless, poor, distressed people and children there.

Siam-ul-Haq said Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such activities in the future too.
