DHAKA, Jan 7, 2026 (BSS) - Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Additional Principal Information Officer (PIO) Munshi Jalal Uddin.

In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, according to an official handout.

Munshi Jalal Uddin passed away this evening while undergoing treatment at a city hospital.
