DHAKA, Jan 15, 2026 (BSS) - The expulsion orders of two leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have been withdrawn.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi revealed this information in a press release issued today.

BNP National Executive Committee member Abdul Khaleque and Brahmanbaria District BNP Vice President and Bancharampur Upazila BNP President Krishibid Mehedi Hasan Palash were earlier expelled from all levels of the party, including primary members, for violating party discipline and engaging in activities that went against the party's policy and ideals.

Considering their applications they earlier submitted, the expulsion orders were withdrawn on Wednesday (January 14) and their primary member positions were restored as per the party decision.

They were reinstated in their positions on January 15, following their applications, the press release said.
