
DHAKA, Feb 4, 2026 (BSS) - AB Party chairman and the 11-party alliance nominee for Feni-2, Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan Monju, today pledged to build an advanced and inclusive Feni by prioritising the dreams and aspirations of the youth.
He made the commitment today at a dialogue session titled "Reform through Youth Vision", held at the Grand Sultan Convention Centre in Feni, a press release said here today.
During the meeting, Monju responded to questions from young organisers and sought cooperation from all stakeholders to address Feni's development challenges and long-standing issues.
Monju said the youth of Feni would play a vital role in shaping a new Bangladesh after the July uprising. He expressed optimism that realising the dreams of the young generation is possible through honest and capable leadership in state governance.
Speakers at the session included Jamaat-e-Islami central Majlis-e-Shura member Professor Liaqat Ali Bhuiyan, deputy coordinator of the Global Youth Parliament SAARC region Hasan Mahmud and NCP joint member secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat, among others. The welcome speech was delivered by Muhaimin Tajim, convener of the organising committee.
Several hundred young people from different areas of Feni attended the event, along with leaders of the allied parties of the 11-party alliance.
Earlier in the morning, Monju held a public outreach programme in Chonua Union of Sadar Upazila. He assured voters that if elected as a member of parliament, he would protect the rights of long-deprived communities.
During the outreach, Monju discussed local issues and solutions with residents of Chonua Bazar, Tongirpara, Company Bazar, and Kazir Dighi areas.
Also present at the events were district Jamaat Ameer Mufti Abdul Hannan, publicity secretary ANM Abdur Rahim, AB Party district secretary Fazlul Haq, union Jamaat Ameer Maulana Imran, secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, and other leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, AB Party, and NCP.
