NARSINGDI, Feb 6, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized a member rally today at the Palash Upazila office to galvanize support for Sarwar Tushar, the candidate of the 11-party electoral alliance for the Narsingdi-2 constituency. 

The rally aimed to unite members and ensure victory of Tushar, also joint convener of National Citizen Party (NCP), in the upcoming 13th  Jatiya Sangshad election, said a press release.

Jamaat central executive council member Abdur Rob, former Narsingdi district Ameer Maulana A F M Abdus Sattar, Narsingdi district Ameer Maulana Musleh Uddin, district secretary Maulana Amjad Hossain, district working committee member Syeduzjaman, and Polash Upazila Amir Maulana Abul Kashem Shikdar were present among the jamaat leaders.

The leaders called for collective action to secure the victory of the 11-party alliance's candidate in Narsingdi-2.

Sarwar Tushar also spoke at the rally, expressing his commitment to the people of the constituency and emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving victory.

Following the rally, a procession led by Maulana Amjad Hossain and Sarwar Tushar in support of the Shapla Koli symbol was held, starting at Polash Upazila office, passing through Khanepur Bazar and BIDC intersection, and concluding at Polash Bus Stand.
