DHAKA, Feb 6, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair visited the injured protesters of Inquilab Mancha including its member secretary Abdullah Al Jaber at Dhaka Medical College hospital.

During their visit, Advocate Zubair, also chief of Jamaat media and publicity department, extended his heartfelt sympathy to the injured and enquired about their medical treatment, said a press release. 

He expressed deep concern over the incident, calling the police's actions against peaceful protesters "unacceptable" and demanded a fair and impartial investigation into the events that led to the injuries.

The delegation also included Jamaat National Election Management Committee Member Dr. Mosharraf Hossain Masud and Jamaat Paltan Thana Ameer Shahin Ahmed Khan.

They expressed concerns about the health and recovery of the victims.
