Two modern AC buses built in BRTC's own factory inaugurated

GAZIPUR, Feb 07, 2026 (BSS) - Chief Adviser's Special Assistant on Road Transport and Bridges Sheikh Moinuddin today inaugurated two modern AC buses built under the own funding and management of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC). 

The event was organized at the Integrated Central Repair Factory in Gazipur here, said a PID handout.

Sheikh Moinuddin said, "The modern AC buses manufactured in BRTC's own factory are a symbol of our capability. There is no alternative to increasing capacity to restore order in the country's road management. BRTC must take the lead in this regard."

He called for building capacity so that in the future, not only buses from its own fleet but also foreign buses can be added here.

Road Transport and Highways Division Secretary Dr Mohammed Ziaul Haque was present as the special guest at the event with BRTC Chairman Abdul Latif Mollah in the chair. 

Officials of various levels of the Road Transport and Highways Division, heads and representatives of organizations and top officials of BRTC were present at the event.
