DHAKA, Feb 23, 2026 (BSS) - The deadline for new e-registration of MPO-enlisted educational institutions has been extended until March 1.

The extension was announced in a notice issued Sunday by the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).

Earlier scheduled from February 9 to February 22, 2026, the e-registration process - aimed at collecting online data on vacant teaching posts in MPO-listed schools, colleges, madrasas and technical institutions - will now continue until 12:00 midnight on March 1.

Institutions that submitted incorrect information will be allowed to edit and update their data within the extended timeframe. Detailed guidelines are available on the NTRCA website.

Under the NTRCA Act 2005 and relevant circulars, e-registration and e-requisition for MPO-listed vacant posts are mandatory. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of MPO facilities and other legal action.

Authorities have urged institution heads and Upazila Secondary Education Officers to complete the process within the stipulated deadline. No requisition for vacant posts will be accepted without prior e-registration.
