DHAKA, Feb 22, 2026 (BSS) – Timely presence of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at his office has impressed many people, including the government officials and visitors.

Since the premier is attending his office as per the Ramadan office timing schedule, he arrived at his Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat at 9:05am today.

“The Prime Minister reached his office in the Secretariat at 9:05 am. Many people were amazed to see him at the office so early,” Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman told BSS.

Noting that a journalist posted on his Facebook at 9:20 am that he was waiting to take a photo of the moment of the Prime Minister’s arrival at his office, he said but the journalist did not know that the Prime Minister had already entered the Secretariat 15 minutes earlier.

After arriving at the Secretariat office, the Prime Minister inquired about which ministers, state ministers and advisers had come to office, Ruman said, adding that the premier gave verbal instructions that everyone should be present at the office at the specified time.

After taking oath as the country’s 11th Prime Minister on February 17, Tarique Rahman attended office at his Secretariat office for the next two days.

Besides, on the weekly holiday on Saturday, he attended his office at the Prime Minister’s Office in the city’s Tejgaon area.
