DHAKA, Feb 25, 2026 (BSS) – The Election Commission (EC) has taken programmes to observe ‘National Voter Day’ on March 2.

A discussion will be held at 11 am at Nirbachan Bhaban marking the day. The theme for this year is ‘Voterder Shakthi, Ganatanther Mukti’ (Strength of Voters, Freedom of Democracy).

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will address the discussion as the chief guest, while Election Commissioners Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Begum Tahmida Ahmad, Md Anwarul Islam Sarker and Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah (Retd.) will speak as special guests.

EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed will preside over the discussion.
