DRU signs corporate deal with Minerva Hospital

DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) has signed a corporate agreement with Minerva Hospital Ltd. to provide healthcare facilities to its members and their families.

The agreement was signed at the DRU office today.

Managing Director Dr Naznin Sultana, CEO Md Abdul Kader and AGM Md Ahsan Habib Rinku signed the agreement on behalf of Minerva Hospital, while DRU General Secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel, Welfare Secretary Rafiq Mridha and Administrative Officer Md Solayman Hossain signed on behalf of DRU.

DRU President Abu Saleh Akon, Organising Secretary M M Jasim and Executive Member Suman Chowdhury, among others, were present at the programme.

Under the agreement, DRU members and their family members will be entitled to receive various healthcare services at concessional rates. The facilities include a 50 percent discount on all types of pathology tests, 30 percent discount on all radiological and imaging tests, emergency consultation at a fee of Tk 50, and a 6 percent discount on all types of Bangladeshi medicines.

DRU already has corporate agreements with Ibn Sina Hospital, Insaf Barakah Hospital, AMZ Hospital, Mirpur BIRDEM Hospital and Aurora Hospital.
