NATORE, March 1, 2026 (BSS) – State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Farzana Sharmin today said the government will take initiatives to modernize all state-owned industries, including sugar mills, and bring them to a profitable level.

She made the remarks while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected committee of the North Bengal Sugar Mill Workers’ Union at Gopalpur in Natore as the chief guest.
