112 crime suspects arrested in Wari

DHAKA, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Wari Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan 
Police (DMP) has arrested a total of 112 individuals in the past 24 hours as 
part of its ongoing anti-crime operations.

The drive was conducted on Saturday across different areas under several 
police stations in Wari Division. 

The information was confirmed by N M Nasir Uddin, deputy commissioner of the 
Media and Public Relations Division, DMP.

The arrested individuals include suspects involved in regular cases, pending 
investigations, arrest warrants and violations under the DMP Ordinance.

Police officials stated that such drives will continue as part of efforts to 
curb criminal activities and maintain law and order in the capital.
