Feni Jubo League leader Delwar Hossain Dalim arrested in Dhaka

FENI, April 11, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested Feni district Jubo League 
organising secretary and former chairman of Kalidah Union Parishad Delwar 
Hossain Dalim, 45, while conducting a raid in the capital.

According to law enforcement sources, a team from the Dhaka Metropolitan 
Police conducted the drive at a residence in Pallabi, where Dalim had been 
staying at his sister's house. The arrest was made following a tip-off from 
an undisclosed source.

Dalim is accused in multiple cases filed with Feni Model Police Station. 
Authorities confirmed that at least three arrest warrants had been issued 
against him.

Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md. Saiful Islam confirmed the 
arrest, stating that a police team from Feni is currently en-route to Dhaka 
to take custody of the accused.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station Gazi Muhammad Foujul Azim 
said investigations are ongoing to determine the total number of cases 
pending against Dalim.

Delwar Hossain Dalim hailed from Gobindapur village under Kalidaha Union in 
Feni Sadar Upazila. He had reportedly been in hiding since August 5, 2024.
