Govt. appoints new Divisional Commissioner in three divisions

DHAKA, April 22, 2026 (BSS)- The government has appointed new divisional commissioners in three divisions.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today.
 
According to gazette notification, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Khalil Ahmed has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Barisal. Additional Secretary of the Health Education and Family Welfare Division Md. Abdullah Harun has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Khulna and Director General of the July Uprising Directorate Md. Moshior Rahman has been made as the Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet.
