Prof Dr Moudud elected BCPS president

DHAKA, June 16, 2026 (BSS) - Prof Dr Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, Convener of the BNP Media Cell has been elected President of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) for its new Executive Committee for 2026.

All posts of the executive committee were filled unopposed. The newly elected committee will serve a two-year term from the date of assuming office.

The results were officially announced today by the BCPS Election Commission, said a notice signed by Election Commissioner Professor Kohinoor Begum.

According to the notice, Dr. Nuruddin Ahmed has been elected Senior Vice-President, Dr. Lutful Aziz Vice-President, Dr. Sehrin Farhad Siddika Treasurer and Dr. Imtiaz Faruk Secretary. Dr. Kazi Deen Mohammad has been elected as a Member of the Executive Committee.
