Govt working to improve living standards through Family, Farmers cards: Saimum

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 26, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister's Environment, Forest and Climate Change Affairs Special Assistant Dr. Md. Saimum Parvez today said the current government is working to improve the living standards of the poor through the Family Card and Farmers Card programmes.

"BNP wants to prove itself through its work rather than words. Alongside improving the living standards of ordinary people, the government is also striving to advance society by providing incentive packages for women," said Saimum.

He made the remarks while inaugurating a newly constructed building of Shahbazpur Union Land Office in Shibganj Upazila here.

Saimum said Jamaat has realized that the Family Card is an excellent initiative, and as a result, they now want to be part of the programme.

The new land office building was constructed at a cost of Taka 90.47 lakh.

Local administrative officials and leaders of the ruling BNP and its associate bodies were present at the inaugural ceremony. 
 
Earlier, Dr. Saimum Parvez planted trees at Sahebnagar Government Primary School and distributed tree saplings among the students.
