IM Fahad loses third round in Hanoi GM Chess

DHAKA, Jan 11, 2025 (BSS)-International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman lost to
Indonesian International Master Setyaki Azarya Jodi in the third round of
Hanoi Grand Masters 2 chess tournament that began on Friday last in Hanoi,
Vietnam, said a Bangladesh Chess Federation press release today.

Fahad Rahman earlier split point with Sri Lankan International Master
Liyanange Ranindu Dilshan in his second round match on the first day of the
meet.

A total of ten players, including three Grand Masters, five International
Masters and one FIDE Master from Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, South Korea,
Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are participating in the round-robin
league format.
