CHATTOGRAM, Jan 11, 2025 (BSS)-The Chattogram division match of Zia Cricket
Tournament was held in the port city of Chattogram on Saturday.

Former captain of national cricket team Shafiqul Haque Hira formally
inaugurated the tournament releasing balloon.

Central organizing secretary of BNP and Zia Cricket Tournament Chattogram
divisional game coordinator Mahbub Rahman Shamim was present as guest of
honour in the opening ceremony, presided by Rafiqul Islam, central convener
of Zia Cricket Tournament.

Harunur Rashid, assistant organizing secretary of Chattogram division of BNP,
BNP member secretary Nazimur Rahman, Chattogram Mahanagar BNP former general
secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar were, among others, also present in the opening
ceremony.

In the day's match, Green team beat Red team by 99 runs and Shohidul of Red
team was given the man of the match award.
