SIRAJGANJ, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS)- A daylong U-16 boys' cricket competition 
formally inaugurated at Sirajganj Shaheed Shamsuddin Stadium today 
(Wednesday).

Sirajganj Press Club President and former General Secretary of District 
Sports Association (DSA) Md. Harun Or Rashid Khan Hasan formally inaugurated 
the meet, organised under the annual sports programme 2024-2025 of the 
Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Sirajganj District Sports Officer and Member Secretary of DSA Md Noorey Elahi 
presided over the opening ceremony.

Bangladesh Cricket Board District Coach Abdullah Al Mamun, DSA Office 
Secretary Rezaul Karim, DSA former Executive Member Alamin Sheikh, Shahzadpur 
Cricket Academy Coach Jahangir Alam and Ullapara Upazila Cricket Academy 
Coach Habibul Islam were also present in the ceremony.

Four teams -- Sirajganj DSA, The Center Club, Shahzadpur Upazila Cricket 
Academy and Ullapara Cricket Academy-- are participating in this 15-over 
tournament.
