DHAKA, Nov 15, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh national hockey team face their Pakistani counterpart in the final match of the three-match play off series held at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium tomorrow (Sunday).

After trailing the series 2-0, Bangladesh will play their Sunday's last match merely to complete the formality as four-time world champions Pakistan secured their place in the FIH World Cup Qualifiers with a match to spare after handing Bangladesh a commanding 8-0 defeat in the second match held on Friday.

Earlier, Bangladesh had at least managed to score twice during their 8-2 loss in the opening match, but they were left completely helpless against them in the second game.
