RANGAMATI, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS)-Rangamati Science and Technology
University (RMSTU) Premier League cricket has been inaugurated
at RMSTU central playground on Wednesday.

RMSTU Vice-Chancellor professor Dr. Md Atiar Rahman formally
inaugurated the league.

Army Rangamati zone deputy commander Major Muktadir, RMSTU
faculty dean and associate professor of computer science and
engineering department Dhiman Sharma, convener of physical
education department management committee of the university
and tourism and hospitality management department assistant
professor Khokneshwar Tripura, university proctor and forestry
and environmental science department assistant professor
Saddam Hossain along with teachers, officials, employees and
students of various departments of the university were also
present in the opening ceremony.

Speaking in the opening ceremony, RMSTU Vice-Chancellor
Professor Dr. Md Atiar Rahman said sports has a positive
aspect. Those who practice positive things, including sports
and culture, would help eliminate the negative practices that
exist in the society.

He also urged the students to take this university to the
pinnacle of development through various positive roles
including sports.

Meanwhile, Strikers of Ankur and Kamal Smrity Foundation took
part in the inaugural match.
