Tigers all out for 202 in practice game against Shaheens

DHAKA, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS)—Bangladesh came up with miserable batting show to 
be all out for 202 in 38.2 overs against Pakistan Shaheens in their lone practice 
game for the Champions Trophy at ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai today.

Vice-captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz made team-best 44. He struck three fours after 
playing 53 balls. Opener Soumya Sarkar scored 35 while tail-ender Tanzim Hasan 
Sakib added 30. Towhid Hridoy was the only other batter who reached 20s.
 
The rot began with the dismissal of opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim who made 6. 
Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto also couldn’t make any impact as he scored 12.

Usama Mir wrecked havoc on Bangladesh by claiming 4-43. Musa Khan took 2-42 
while Sufiyan Muqeem picked up one wicket.
