DHAKA, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS) - Pakistan Under-19 Women's team made a winning start to the five-match T20 series, sealing a 13-run win over Bangladesh Women's Under-19 team in the first game at Cox's Bazar Cricket Academy Ground on Wednesday.

Opting to bat first, the visiting side was bowled out for paltry 88 in 19.4 overs with captain Eman Naseer hitting highest 30. However, their bowlers bowled impeccably to help the side defend the total in style by wrapping up Bangladesh for 75 in 19.5 overs.

Shahad Banu was the pick of Pakistan bowler with 3-27 while Rozina Akram and Memoona Khalid took two wickets apiece.

Only three Bangladesh batters could reach double digits with opener Aritry Nirjona making highest 20. Captain Sadia Akter was the other notable scorer with 16.

The second T20 of the series will be held tomorrow at the same venue.
