NAP prays Khaleda Zia’s early recovery

DHAKA, Nov 04, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP) prayed for speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, an uncompromising fighter in the struggle to protect Bangladesh's democracy.  

In a message issued today, Bangladesh NAP Chairman Jebel Rahman Ghani and Secretary General M. Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan called on the countrymen to pray for the quick recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia from the disease.

They said, “Her (Begum Khaleda Zia) long struggle, sacrifice and strong stance in the national political arena are a significant chapter in the country’s politics.”

The leaders of the party described her as a symbol of the country’s democratic struggle and national unity, saying, ‘Begum Khaleda Zia’s wisdom and presence are very important in the country’s current political transformation. Her contribution to Bangladesh’s democracy is immeasurable, they said.
