DHAKA, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS) - The newly elected secretary general of Bangladesh 
Olympic Association (BOA) Jubaidur Rahman Rana formally assumed all 
responsibilities from the outgoing secretary general Syed Shahed Reza at the 
BOA Bhaban today (Thursday) afternoon.

The outgoing secretary general Syed Shahed Reza expressed his optimism that 
the newly elected executive committee would further accelerate the activities 
of the Olympics.

Earlier, on the day, a BOA executive committee meeting was held at cantonment 
Army Multipurpose complex with BOA president and Army Chief General Waker-Uz-
Zaman in the chair. 

Thereafter, according to the agenda of the meeting, the outgoing executive 
committee handed over the responsibilities of the BOA newly elected executive 
committee.
