Women's national football team continues training in Sydney

DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS)-Bangladesh women's national football team continued their preparations in Sydney with another focused training session at Jubilee Stadium today.

The team trained from 9am to 11am as part of an intensive two-hour session designed to further sharpen tactical cohesion and match readiness, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). 

The session commenced with structured warm-up drills, followed by high-tempo possession games to enhance ball circulation and decision-making under pressure.

The players then participated in competitive possession matches, maintaining intensity and discipline throughout. The session concluded with individual shooting and finishing drills and post-training ice baths at the training venue.

The coaching staff expressed satisfaction with the players' energy, focus and commitment as preparations continue to build momentum. Later this afternoon, the team will undertake a recovery-focused yoga and stretching session at the team hotel to ensure optimal physical balance and flexibility.

The team will resume training tomorrow (Sunday) at the same venue as preparations continue.
