Aminul conveys best wishes to hockey team

DHAKA, April 1, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul 
Haque has conveyed his best wishes to the members of Bangladesh Hockey Team 
ahead of their Asian Games qualifying hockey tournament.

Earlier, an 18-member Bangladesh Hockey Team departed for Thailand to 
participate in the Asian Games qualifying hockey scheduled to be held from 
April 2-10 in Bangkok.

In a message today (Wednesday), the State Minister said: "Hockey is one of 
the most promising and popular sports in our country. Our players have always 
shown hard work and dedication to raise the red-green flag in the 
international arena. I believe that you will fight with the same 
concentration and patriotism on the field in Bangkok."

The State Minister also hoped that the players would achieve the desired 
success in the tournament by giving their best efforts.
