DHAKA, Apr 27, 2026 (BSS)- The eight-day “BFF National Trial 2026” has begun at the Birshreshthsa Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur today (Monday).

The trial, under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS), featuring 128 footballers selected from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) UCB BFF Under-15 National Football League last year was held across the country.

The opening day’s activities started in the morning with fifty promising footballers taking part in the first group. Each group will be given two days to showcase their abilities during the trial.

Players are being divided into two teams and are playing 90-minute matches each day, allowing them to demonstrate their skills in match situations.

Through the selection process, talented footballers will be picked to represent Bangladesh in different age-level national teams.

A total of ten coaches and one physio, under the supervision of the BFF, are conducting the programme.

The trial activities will continue until May 4.
