
DHAKA, May 8, 2026 (BSS) - Two Star Boda Upazilla Football Academy, Panchagarh clinched title of the Bashundhara Kings BFSF U-14 Academy Cup beating Firoj Kamal Football Academy, Brahmanbaria by 3-0 goals in penalty shoot out in the final held today.
The keenly contested final match rolled into a tie breaker after the regulation time ended in a goalless draw held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.
The most talked-about name of the tournament was Amir Hamza of the champion team. He not only won the man of the final award but also claimed the best goalkeeper title. The goalkeeper played a crucial role in helping his team become champions by making brilliant saves in the penalty shootout.
After the match, former national footballers Mamun Babu and Dulal Hossain Dhonu, SBF president Farhad Hossain, and former footballer and national swimmer Ali Azam distributed the prizes.
Earlier, on way the final, Firoj Kamal Football Academy, Brahmanbaria blanked Morning Star Football Academy by 3-0 goals in the first semifinal.
While in the second semifinal, Two Star Boda Upazilla Football Academy, Panchagarh thrashed S.B Ali Football Academy, Khulan by 6-0 goals.
