DHAKA, June 15, 2026 (BSS) - A three-day Scholastica Inter-School Handball and Volleyball tournament has got underway at its senior campus in Mirpur in the capital today (Monday).

The tournament, sponsored by Cute as title sponsor, will continue until June 17.

World Archery Asia president and chairman of the Mousumi Industries Limited attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest. 
  
Eight prominent schools from Dhaka are competing in this year's event.

The tournament features both handball and volleyball, with separate boys’ and girls’ divisions, creating four competitive categories.

The tournament will conclude on June 17 with the final matches and prize distribution ceremony.

The participating schools are - Scholastica Mirpur, Scholastica Uttara, Sunnydale, Southbridge, Green Herald, Summerfield, BISC and Glenrich International School.
