2 held with foreign pistol, ammunition in Khulna

KHULNA, June 15, 2026 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested two alleged associates of the criminal group known as "B-Company" along with a foreign-made pistol, a magazine and five rounds of ammunition during a raid in Khulna city.

The arrested were identified as Bellal Sepai alias Billu, 26, and his associate Robiul Islam Rony alias Hridoy, 21.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB team conducted a drive in the Rayermohol (Munshipara) area under Ward No. 14 of Arongghata Police Station at around 5.30 pm on Sunday and arrested the duo from the rented house of Billu.

Following the arrest, RAB personnel searched Billu's bedroom and recovered a foreign-made pistol, a magazine and five rounds of ammunition from a cornice inside the room. 

According to RAB sources, Bellal Sepai alias Billu is accused in four cases, including those filed under the Arms Act and for attempted murder, with Arongghata and Harintana police stations in Khulna Metropolitan area.

A regular case was filed against the two accused under the Arms Act and they were handed over to Arongghata Police Station along with the seized firearm and ammunition for further legal action.
