DHAKA, June 16, 2026 (BSS)-Pirojpur and Sirajganj district football teams won their respective final round matches of the U-17 National Football 
Championship held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur today (Tuesday).

In the day's first match, Pirojpur beat ten men Moulvibazar by 1-0 goal with Mehedi Hasan scored the decisive goal for the winners' in the 45th minute of 
the match.

Tanver Ali Mahi of Moulvibazar was shown red card by the referee during the match. In the day's second match, Sirajganj defeated Rajbari also by the same identical margin of 1-0 goal.

After the barren first half, Sabbir Sheikh finally broke the deadlock scoring the all-important goal for Sirajganj in the 87th minute of the match. 

Jubayer Mahbub Akash of Sirajganj and Riduwan Sardar of Rajbari were shown red card by the referee during the match.
