DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has taken a decision to set the yearly maintenance fees of the beneficiary owners' (BOs) accounts at Tk 150.
 
The commission took the decision at a meeting held today, said a BSEC press release.
 
Currently, investors are required to pay an annual maintenance fee of Tk 450 for each BO account. Of this amount, broker firms receive Tk 100, the Central Depository Bangladesh Limited Tk 100, the BSEC Tk 50 and the government Tk 200.
