DHAKA, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - Expatriate Bangladeshis sent around US$1.99 billion in the first 21 days of June. 

According to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) released today, expatriates have sent remittances of $29.50 billion during the July 2024 – 21 June 2025 of the current fiscal year, which was only $23.29 billion during the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Accordingly, remittances have increased by $6.21 billion or 26.7 percent.
