11.1pc growth of remittance inflow till Oct 19

DHAKA, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 11.1 percent reaching US$1710 million in the first 19 days of 
October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here 
today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,539 
million.

During the July to October 19, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates 
sent remittances of $9,295 million, which was $8,082 million during the same 
period of the previous fiscal year.
