8.1pc growth of remittance inflow till Oct 21

DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 8.1 percent reaching US$1,853 million in the 21 days of October, 
according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,714 
million.
 
During the July to October 21, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates 
sent remittances of $9,439 million, which was $8,257 million during the same 
period of the previous fiscal year.
